Cool collections of images. Here are all the folders; see below (or inside) for a description of each.

gea (open folder)

This is Gea. (Slender, golden-brown fur, droopy eyes)

She's gentle but timid, because she used to get abused. [Person X] rescued her from an abusive owner, and brought her to us. I'm not going to describe that, since it's awful, but her timidness and trust issues towards people is well justified.

We had her with us for some time, but she ended up not getting along with our other dogs, and after some very nasty fight where she basically got overpowered by two of our dogs, we gave her away and she's now with a loving and caring family, getting all the love and affection she deserves.

gus (open folder)

My cat Gus, full name Gustavo. (Big, fat, with white and brown fur)

We adopted him in 2016 from a shelter when I lived back in Panama. He loves playing around but hates strangers. He's a little dumb and sometimes pees on my stuff if I'm away from home for a long time (as in months).

One of his passtimes is harassing Yuki and getting scared at the randomest of noises. Every once in awhile he'll start a full speed scare dash from on top of you if he's sitting there, and proceed to cut you open because he sprints with his claws deployed.

His other pasttime is clawing at furniture instead of his scratching posts.

lulú (open folder)

Meet Lulú! (tiny, medium-long fluffy golden fur) She used to be my great-grandmother's dog, now she is my mum's.

She used to be called Princess until we adopted her in 2012. She was some rich family's dog, bought as a plaything for their kids. One time, this family went on vacation and asked a neighbour to look after her, so they'd go to this house, let her out and feed her and stuff, and all the neighbourhood kids would play with her.

Along with said kids were me and my sister, who also would go play with the dog whenever it was let out. We'd chase her around and play, the usual things kids do.

My great-grandmother, who loved dogs, found out about this and decided to take her, since dogs shouldn't be a plaything for kids to chase around and treat poorly. And so, we assumed temporary responsibility of her until this family came back. Alas, they didn't and the house became vacant at some point, so we ended up keeping her.

She's timid and diffident of strangers, and will bark at anyone who she doesn't know, unlike our other dogs. She doesn't like being lifted off the ground, but will jump on your lap sometimes. She will ask for pets but look away and stop wagging her tail once you start petting, all indifferent. She will run away and hide if you try to give her attention. Petting is only allowed whenever she feels like coming up to you. Oh no, my dog is a tsundere!? or a cat?

luna (open folder)

This fat potato here is called Luna. (small, fat, white fur with black spots)

She's a little silly but really affectionate, absolutely loves to cuddle and lick your face at each chance she gets. If you make a closed fist or a fingergun in and point it at her, she gets mad. If you yell "WHO'S THERE?" in Italian, she starts aggressively barking at the general area you yelled towards. (She's wholeheartedly convinced that her 30-centimetre tall self is scary)

She also loves Paddleboarding and will happily chill on top of the board while you are there dying paddling... She could at least try, but the paddle might be a bit too big. (I'll add an image of this when I take one, I'm not fond of bringing my phone near the ocean)

(PS: that one image with the green alien is her dressed up as a sea urchin for carnival.

myra (open folder)

This shaggy looking dog is Myra. (Dark brown fur, medium sized)

She's a miracle child from two dogs that were separated by a tall chain fence. Life sure finds a way... She was given to us by a local bus driver. When we got her, she was full of ticks and fleas - fucking hundreds - so much so that we wanted to go back to the bus driver and get all her siblings. We didn't end up doing that, mostly because we don't have the capabilities to care for so many dogs, but from what I understand, one of them passed, and the other two grew up fine and healthy.

Anyway she's chaotic and energetic. Always up to some mischief (like stealing the pillows and blankets out of her crib and leaving them around the yard, or fighting with her big sister Stella), but she respects her elders (us, and Luna, the first dog we had).

stella (open folder)

This gentle giant is Stella. (tall, not that slender, with golden-blonde fur and long legs)

She loves to jump at you and dirty all your clothes. She's super clever and has learnt how to open doors and how to escape from fenced areas in unimaginable ways. Also, for some reason, she sometimes just shoves her head between your legs (I've fallen over from this).

(wow, another sad origin story? YEAH!). When she was a puppy, someone left her tied up to a pole along a highway some ways away from my home town, when someone from my town happened to pass by and see this tiny potato, so they picked her up and put her on Facebook. Someone else saw the post, called us and said "Hey, do you want a puppy?", and so we took her in.

yuki (open folder)

This loaf is Yuki. Or Yuky? No idea. (dark brown fur, big and slightly overweight)

Why do I have no idea? He was given to me by a friend in 2019 to "keep watch of him for two weeks". The weeks, months, and years eventually passed. My "friend" eventually moved to Spain and vanished, and now we have a new cat.

Why was he named yuki? No idea either. Weird name for a dark cat, since it means 'snow' in Japanese, but oh well.

We believe he was born around 2015, going by an image from this person's social media where he looked young, but who could tell. Could you imagine just abandoning your cat after FOUR YEARS? Well I couldn't. (PS: We brought him with us to Italy when we moved, LIKE ONE SHOULD! Pets are family)

Anyway he loves sunbathing, running away from home, and exhibitionism. He's an expert loaf and loves to be lazy, doesn't mind strangers and will just chill around - no fucks given.
